Went to the oval a few days ago.
Rented a 100-400mm and a 1.4 extender from lenses for hire.





(how does one make it so the picture is a little bit smaller, but can be clicked upon to make if full resolution)??

Ouch, at 5 MB and 5,148 × 3,432 you are probably worth resizing, it kills my browser loading If you want to make the full res available use something like flickr so you can preview/link smaller versions but someone can go to flickr and download the original if you want.

There's not really anything in that picture I need the full resolution for - a 800x resize still gives the same impression

i've been trying to find out what the problem is with this image, it seems to happen on re-size.. but didn't have a lot of time to trouble shoot as i was editing a wedding..

Sorry if captain autism was kicking in, but the second version is much better!

BTW I think infrared its my favourite technique for landscape , just works so well in adding a surreality about things - esp with capturing textures

Can you do it in macro too ?

Yep, I can do macro in IR too. Not that it's really worthwhile

shooting at f20 you better make sure you lens is clean and your sensor
