prolly a 5D2 with 100-400
shutter speed wasn't slow enough for the props, but still better than faster..

or maybe a 7d with a 70-300?
Some amateurish Macro pictures I did recently.
Crop of first picture.
The lens used was an old manual focus 105MM/F4.0 Micro-Nikkor mounted to a Sony A200 via a third party adaptor. However,it means I need to adjust exposure manually for each shot and do not get any focus confirmation either. Moreover, the A200 has a small, dark pentamirror viewfinder which makes focusing a pain!
I think the lack of critical sharpness is down to the focus and probably the fact I did not stop down enough(shots are at F8 handheld with no flash),and the A200 does also start to get noisy by around ISO400 to ISO800.
Either I need a body with a larger and brighter pentaprism or an autofocus Macro lens.
