I plan to do that when i go back to shooting raw wth a new camera body. Raw on the D3200 is too slow, buffer fills up really really quick in raw.

    Re: Photo-a-day

Something a bit different today, HDR infrared Not tried it properly before, got a set of ND filters so I bumped the aperture right up to f20-f29 and got some long exposures to smooth out the water. Not too displeased

    Re: Photo-a-day

took this photo in raw and jpeg, where do I start in photoshop lightroom?

oh and I gotta D7100 for a bargain basement price of £545, barely read the manual then took it out today. Still need to work out what so and so does, the buffer perfomance in raw is worse than the 3200 >< Id knew it was slow but was not expecting that. I was still googling how to configure af, metering and exposure while I was taking photos ha!

You don't need to shoot 14bit unless you really want the extra shadow detail - would use it for commercial purposes, but not for hobby stuff.. so that will give you a buffer of 7-9 shots until you drop to 3fps and if you're machine gunning, think more about the shot you want rather than what you hope to get..

you've either got dust on the sensor or on the lens btw..

The sd cards are 2x 90 mb/s plus a spare 95MB/s uhs 3 card. I tried to find the option but it was not visible in the shooting menu. Need to dig the manual out and look again.

Edit: changed to 12 only i only get 1 more shot in the buffer

the buffer will clear faster because of the smaller file size..

take the filter and throw it away! your lens hood will keep anything from hitting the front element..
