Yes, a great picture indeed.

That's after a bit of processing, the dark bits were pretty much black, so I pushed the shadows as much as I dared, but as you can see there are still lots of blown highlights. I think I had a 3 stop grad on the top too, but that didn't help much due to the massive contrast. I'm still very much a beginner, so I'm still learning lots, I tried bracketing but with the "middle" exposure being 30 seconds , and +/-2 stops wasn't enough.

Posted wrong one. Noticed that wee bit of squintness in top left and changed it prior to upload. Only problem was I uploaded the old one. Pet hate of mine as well. Awkward with lakes as you never know what level is, but no excuse with the sea.nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
