ive already booked my ticket to RIAT, cant wait!!!! THe D7100 wiill definitely be in my bag with the 300mm. Might try a few shots on film.

I wish I realised how cheap the tickets for the Paris Air show were months ago - they are only £13 per day.

Yeah,but even getting up to Riat is still a reasonable trek for me and by the time you add travel and accomodation its not like the bargain of the century,especially with the high costs of train travel in the UK and accommodation here if you want to stay more than one day. Plus at least you get to visit Paris too,and the Paris airshow does tend to get a better cross section of exhibitors than Farnborough.

Big UK airshows are a bloody ripoff - if one in Paris can cost £13,then there is no excuse for UK based ones in the middle of fields,to be costing 3 to 4 times that. Farnborough never used to be so expensive in the past for example,but appears to be targeting the London crowd now and its not even that great anymore!
