Fomopan 400
the point I was trying to was I used an entry level low spec dslr, so yeah i was refocusing alot with the AF-L button. Luckily the sun out which allowed me to use a low iso, the D3200 is gets quite noisy at iso 1600. The film camera I used to shoot the parade was a Nikon F5 which had 4 af points and an AF-L button, it took a while to find focus. I think I ended up manual focusing a couple times.

Heres a photo of a guy being arrested and searched. He was foolish enuff to commit a crime 20-30m from a police van parked outside the Shard. I used a Nikon F3, 50mm 1.4 and a roll Agfa 200 from Poundland.
Sorry guys keep filling this topic with my posts. Bit of a frustrating day at heathrow yesterday the planes just wouldnt use my favourite approach so i kept getting backlit shots. Normally they change the approach by midday.

Love your aviation shots Bobster. Are you a MOD Photographer or just fortunate enough to get access to training areas? We get a fair bit of Apache activity up near me (Newbury area) and I once had fun mountain biking with a CH-47 doing some crazy low passes over me.
Thanks
I'm just a hobby aviation photographer, I try and get to the Plain at least once a month (most of the time, it's just luck what comes) using a OS map and sticking to the byway.. usually Lynx 9A, Wildcat, Apache, Puma, Chinook, Squirrel, Bell 212, Gazelle, A109 and occasional Merlin..
