I'm not crushing anything. Last two are straight from camera and just removed the colour.

I think what Bob's trademark sledgehammer diplomacy is trying to helpfully point out is that a 'straight' B&W conversion still requires finesse and tweaking so as not to lose valuable detail. They're good shots they just need a smidge of thought.
If I can give you a tip; I'm not sure about your process but I never publish a shot until I've slept on it and seen it with fresh eyes. I always look again in the morning and quite often I'll have to slap myself for some gash awful filter I've applied thinking it looked 'edgy' at the time, then dial it back and look at it honestly.
It seems that he crushes and slates all of my images here. If he does not want me to post any pics anymore then so be it.
I like your critic because you are not harsh.
I am looking at the pics now and maybe it needs a slight tweak but other then that not much in my eyes. Its the look I wanted from the pic so don't want to change it too much.
I think the latter two in particular are just too dark. There's a lot of shadow area and it's largely just flat black with no detail (i.e. crushed). Having the whole thing a bit brighter with some texture in the shadows would improve the images I think.

That first image just now is so much better than the original (also there is so much more detail in the second), as for not posting pics because Bobster doesn't want you to, well don't be stupid, everyone has an opinion, like it or not, it is what it is.
I do like some of your shots, however I do find some of you PP a bit too harsh at times, mainly saturation, but again, others will enjoy it, if you like it then stick with it.
If every photographer took the same type of photos and used the same PP, photography would be pretty boring.
