Flash ruins the background in low light situations and creates hard shadows. Press photographers just shoot jpegs and dont care if it looks good or not.

Theres colour fringing on the 3rd shot, the sigma 18-35 is a really sharp lens but the lens coating just doesnt cut out the colour fringing.

edit: just noticed a very small amount of purple fringing on the second one in the background.

I guess you have never been told not to process your images on the same day as you shot them.

from other fellow photographers I have met, your less likely to delete the photos that are crap if you took them on that day. However I do at times edit on the same day as i am eager to view the shots. I notice I tend to make more mistakes If I edit when I am tired too.

have to strongly disagree with this.. not pro's i take it? hate for them to have to do a shoot and supply the shots on the same day to a client!

Recently I been doing paid jobs every friday night. I edit some when I get home but I double check them all on Saturday before I send to client.
