Scottish Tablet, if you can get it..amazing stuff.

Welsh...hmm an endless knot or something...er maybe too historical. Take the knowledge that Arthur was most likely a Welsh prince fighting against the Angles/Saxons after the Roman years....or maybe not!!

How about "The Office" on DVD?
    Well Hello!

He was defending the Welsh Marches as legend goes ( i live on the Marches, and live right near the Hill fort where Guinevere was meant to have been born, so legend goes )

An apology - we're great ones for offering apologies when none is necessary (I'm sorry, but could I please bother you to pass me the salt? etc, etc). Not sure if we're so good at apologising when one is needed, though...

Anyone ever watch the Friday night Armastis? Some cracking suggestions there.

But the most British thing you can take? A cheap schools recorder and the sheet music to play 'eastenders' on it.

If you're allowed to take food this is it:

All from a local supermarket and easy to get

    Jar of Branston Pickle
    Piece of Mature Cheddar
Piece of the most expensive Stilton you can afford....a baby stilton (young and not too ripe)
Bottle of Cider (Thatchers cider, small bottles in supermarkets)
    Bottle of Black Sheep beer
    Tin of Heinz baked beans
Box of PG tips or other favoured tea
    Box of Earl Grey tea
    Bottle of London Dry Gin
    Rich Tea biscuits
    Hovis Biscuits

That little lot should stand you in very good stead
