Funny: If you're happy to buy a complete system, you can get this CPU.
yay, i has my e8400. i am happy.
What ??? .... Huh ??? ... I do .... I do .... I mean I don't believe that ... why did you tell us ??? ... I feel so down now ...
I bet you're a liar ... I want to see an original picture from the front and from the back and from the side and with daylight and with candle light and outside your PC and with CPU socket and with CPU cooler and without and the box where it came in, hell ... just show us some proof please, alright ??
Oh and by the way, would it be possible to show us a picture of the CPU ???
And if that is not possible maybe you could take a picture of the processor instead and post it here asap ??
you can find the processor in tekheads website there are four currently in stock
Hello Scan ?
I have a serious request, yeah this is an emergency.
I know that you do get Wolfies from time to time and you supply your backlog of orders ... ok, there's nothing wrong with that.
But honestly, just answer me one single question now: can a human being survive without fresh air ?
If your answer is no, then please post a little Wolfy to uncle Cov as soon as possible because my air supply is running out and I'm gonna be seriously menatlly and healthwise damaged - you don't want that to happen, no ?
I thank you very much for your understanding in this matter and do not hesitate to ask somebody else if you require any further information.
I expect my little Wolfy to arrive by coming Monday or Tuesday (my days off work) alright ?
Thanks again.
Lol at Cov,
Sorry but I have to say I have got an E8400 now and have had it for a month
But I would say, that when you do get one, you won't be disappointed - I put my new build together and apart from a dodgy stick of memory (which is currently in the RMA process) it is running like a dream compared to my old machine
And I don't appear to be having any of the temperature issues that some people have had either - as I type this, my core temps are just over 35 degrees and that is after a few hours playing CS:S and only with the standard Intel HSF as well and my case is blowing out cold air
Bought it today and you know what ? It was the last one.
But they still have plenty of 8200 left.
Paid £ 148.99 ... that's about $ 295.-
The only downside is I can't test it cause the motherboard I want is out of stock ... man ! this whole thing is like looking after mosquitos: if you caugh one - another one escapes ...
While I was in the city I looked around for 24 inch monitors. Looks like HP is promoting its W2408H monitor real hard. You can see it everywhere. I really like the design of the stand - the most beautiful thing I have ever seen - BUT ... the frame around the panel is so thick that it spoils the whole thing again. It makes it real chunky.
I'm waiting on 2 hard to find items, an Intel E8400 + DFI mobo, no doubt they'll be like buses and all arrive at once.
@ JKL ... lol, yeah I think you're right
It says on the chip:

Intel (R) CORE TM2 DUO
SLAPL MALAY

And on a sticker:
Core(TM)2 Duo Processor E8400, LGA775 Pkg

S-SPEC: SLAPL
VERSION#: E27439-001 1.225V max PACK DATE: 02/25/08
What might SLAPL mean / stand for ? And what PACK DATE have you got ?
