I know there's a sticky but people still can't follow it.

Most users read the first bit which is the PM method. The first way only works for users with PM enabled whereas Saracen's method works for all. Most likely the users aren't reading that bit too. Which is why you get this even after it's been updated.

You know the confirmation email that you get when you sign up... why not get the system to automatically include the user id in the email? I know this needs to be done on Hexus' end... but maybe its worth suggesting to Hexus admin

I don't know what chars to regex for the forum names so I've left it out. But if you're trying to break the script then you obviously don't need your userid.

Will only work till hexus changes the forum again.

Let me know of any errors though.

Brilliant stuff moogle. Not that people are going to stop posting about how they can't get their Hexus User ID numbers, but... Should be added to sticky really, or both stickies.

so wait and see.. impression i got was its going to be a lot easier to find userid in the next forum upgrade.. might possibly be in 'User CP' section..
