XFX 6800 Ultra - Pre-Order on Scan

Now I am even more depressed, OCUK had some come in today for their pre-orders (I did have a pre-order there on 7th may) changed to Scan on 13th and totally screwed meself Looks like lots of suppliers got some initial stock today, I wonder if Scan did ?

Apparently OCUK got 10 today I really hope Scan did get a delivery just late otherwise XFX are really messing them about.

Just checked with Scan, they didnt recieve the rest of their expected shipment. This is very disapointing as OCUK recieved 10 yesterday, Dabs recieved I would imagine at least 5 and these are just the suppliers we know about.

After moving my order from OCUK to Scan on the gurantee they would get it first, well its exceptionally annoying to say the least.

I would hope Scan are having very serious words with XFX about where the other 5 of their cards went on thursday and why other suppliers could recieve stock instead of them the next day when not fulfilling their order.

I am just very disapointed and being told now that Scan are expecting more at the end of the month, which IMO is just terrible.

We also feel frustrated with the current situation but as your aware after all the conversations we have had in the last few weeks it really is out of our hands.

I shall keep an eye on the situation and shall give you a ring on Monday just to keep you upto date on things.

OcUK did NOT get 10, I had a long chat with ER3 today and XFX have informed us the truth.

Scan are not the trouble makers here, they can only ship what they have.

I believe Scan may have or are expecting the other 5 very soon.

Sorry if my post seemed harsh it wasnt aimed at Scan, I do not hold Scan responsible at all. I have ordered alot off them in the past (my main FX51 rig £1300+ also from the good man Carl with the infamous disapearing Gigabyte NF3-150 mobos) not to mention countless thousands from my work for servers (Jason I think it is deals with purchase orders?) and will continue to do so. Excellent online retailer and always on the ball with latest releases not to mention great prices.

The OCUK info was off their forums from one of their employees, blowing smoke (also claims 200 backorders).

Scan are at the mercy of the manufactorer and can only send out what is sent to them.

Not yet, Scan should be recieving it soon, maybe today or tomorrow. The missing 5 apparently got delivered to Dabs instead of Scan, I presume Dabs are sending back to XFX who will send to Scan. Dunno if Dabs would be kind enough to send directly to Scan heh.

No Dabs still got their normal delivery plus 5 extra. I believe Dabs were informed very strongly by XFX not to sell those 5 cards.

Ok we recieved the remaining cards from the order today, if your unlucky enough not to be in the batch of cards that shall be dispatched today then it looks like it shall be the beginning of next month now.

I just got confirmation of my card being dispatched

Thanks to Carl for excellent job under difficult circumstances. Thats it over for me once I get it. He still gonna be getting people ringing up daily asking where they are tho.

I hope nVidia can ramp up the production and make everyones job easier.
