    Back on the 2nd of January. I am not in returns or have any access to our database but I can say if you have swapped cards with your friend then it seems to be the graphics card that is causing the problem. When i get back I will get someone to speak to you regarding this issue please PM closer to the time

    I would seem that the GFX card is the issue but I was certain it was before when I returned my XFX XT. Scan said they found no faults with it but knew there were compatability issues. That is why I decided to go for the Leadtek as it was the card my friend has and that worked. I am starting to wonder if there is more to this, that maybe the board is faulty. Although that does not explain why my friends card worked. The thin is I cannot afford to keep returning parts and being told there are no faults. I think it would be best to return everything and get it tested out together. Then maybe your tech guys can find which part is faulty. Might save time and more pain.

    OK, spoke to returns and explained situation. Scan convinced its a faulty GFX card. Although everything points to the card being faulty I am starting to think there is more to it than that, maybe thats just me having no confidence in getting this sorted now. I have had these components for over 5 weeks now and nothing has worked since day one.

    Anyway, RMA raised for return GFX card.

    Yes I mentioned it to Returns this morning it is quite unlucky really but as you know when it goes wrong it goes wrong! It does seem to be the graphics card as the issue I can't think it being anything else as you have tested all the other possibilities

    Thanks Paul, I have purchased many things from Scan over the years and have complete confidence that we will resolve the issue, it is just frustrating that I have not had a working PC for aver five weeks now (obviously the Crimbo period has contributed to the delays). In fact I will be putting in an order for another complete system soon, although there may be some changes to my last order, different mobo for a start.

    My only worry with this RMA is that it will be tested and no fault found again, with the symptoms I doubt that will be the case but it happened with the XFX I returned before (the same tests were carrieds out and the same results found).

    OK, my "second" card has been picked up ready for scan to test.

    Fingers crossed I was just unlucky.

    Ok, I am beginning to lose me patience now.

    I have just had an email stating that again there is no fault found.

    What are my options now???

    I have spent nearly £650 on this equipment and it has never worked. If the GFX card is really OK then surely Scan have a duty to find where the fault is!!!!!!

    OK, thanks Ian for the help. I am now returning CPU, Mobo and Memory. All to be tested together to find out exactly what the problem is.

    OK, unfortunately due to illness I have only just been able to send the package. Royal Mail special delivery with next day delivery.

    OK, Lee at Scan has confirmed that the Mobo is faulty and will be replaced. Giving intermittent 2A errors regardless of the hardware installed.

    What I would like to do is ask if all my components were tested together and that the corruptions were experienced by Lee.

    Can anyone confirm this if i send the RMA number??
