Re: Anyone bought from Ginger6 ?

Thankyou antagram for the advice, it doesn't seem daunting at all. I have already tried reinstalling windows 3 times and updating drivers for graphics cards and motherboard.

I have also tried ten different physx drivers and numerous versions of directx.

I will try updating the audio drivers from your link, and check that i tried your recommended motherboard and chipset drivers, but i did download directly from the asus website so think i have tried that.

Thankyou for the helpful post though.

I don't know what PhysX requires, but I wouldn't bother touching any versions from non-Nvidia sites.

The Nvidia driver link listed previously:
•Upgrades PhysX System Software to version 9.10.0224.
But if you wanted you could just uninstall current PhysX software and use this instead.
    Nvidia PhysX system software 9.10.0224

There is a June 2010 DirectX 9.29.1962 . This is a single file that contains it all, instead of having to be connected to the internet while installing. So keep it safe for future re-use.

Might be worth looking for game patches too, but if crashes are happening to all your games it's probably not applicable. Still a good practice to follow, providing they don’t mess up save games.
