Only one more day of folding left, has anyone got any units that they will be submitting before the cut off for the September Stats?
I'm 61% the way through 1 wu, with 38% remaining, and each TPF taking 30mins, that'll take (socks come off) 19 hours, so that one should finish. My other machine has 44% completion, so that'll be tight at 28 hours or there abouts remaining... I believe that the stats service is about 9 hours different so that may or may not get included.
I reckon that'll take me 1.92M this month. How's everyone else doing? Any last minute folders pumping anything out?
I reckon we'll be at about the 147.2M pts mark at month end all told.

Checked with Gigabyte's own utility - my 120 mm fan is at 700 RPM, CPU fan - 900 RPM, 92s - 1200 RPM. I can barely hear it when I'm trying to sleep. Bliss

Now that is a folding machine. 80 3Ghz cores if you fill it which, (if I have my maths right) should chomp through a Big Adv unit in 7 hours and should give 300k ppd I think.
Add the gpu's into it as well and it'll fly.
On the other hand, 8 top end Xeon's will chew through more than a kilowatt between them - so about £3 per day in eletricity just for the processors!
It'd be more than that points wise - a SR2 with 24 threads running at 4+ Ghz gets 150k-210k ppd. You'd have to use LINUX to get that, but it should still get well more than 300k by my reckoning.
If only I had the 40k to buy one of those bad boys! We'd be a top 10 team!
Still a bit of a dream machine though.
Must've had some good units yesterday - 1.99M for me, and the team got 147,200,985.
Just insalling office onto my server so that I can dowload the stats ready to update.
It's the time of year when it gets cold again!
Started the HD6870 folding, expecting some 4k PPD.
Also planning to build a heater/dedicated folder in the comming weeks if BDs are cheap enough.

Nice one guys - My GTX 295 seems to be falling over regularly irrespective of the clocks, so I'm going to have to roll back the drivers to see if that helps the stability - hence my decreased numbers this week.
Am i missing something, GTX480's only good for 10kPPD now, give or take?

Should be a bit more than that - I believe 16k+. I'll fire mine up tonight and see what I get....
