Nicely done guys! Should set a new team monthly record this month
first ever day of more than 10k points

You've done better though, we're having a great month that's for sure
Just think of the points coming in Jan!
Shocking, you are getting a little less on your GPU than me, yet my Q6600@3.4, is getting half what your AMD@3.8 is getting on similar work units (mine are reported as 481 credit, yours are 483 credit)
Only difference I can see is my cpu is running the A3 gromacs core, while yours seems to be on the SMP2 gromacs core.

Still, should be higher. That said a phenom II is more efficient to start with iirc and it is 400mhz difference, which raised my ppd but about 2k.
Time to crank up the Q6600.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Maybe all those AMD ANTI INTEL fanboys were right when they said that AMD's were better than Intel....

Value for money I'd say they are unless you're running bigadv units.
This CPU was £50 but is as fast as an i7 920 atm
Getting money for xmas this year so with any luck if I sell on my current CPU I can get a 1055T

I'll keep my Xeons. lol
Just set another bigadv server going. I think I should hit 400k points tomorrow if all of the scheduled units go through.
I should stop comparing apples to oranges lol
You are right, I had thought I had removed the smp3 flag when I switched to the nvidia card, but it is still there lurking in the config file, I had only removed it from the shortcut.
It can hit 3.8 with enough volts, but the excess power consumption and heat just isn't worth it, I may drop the multi though and run a faster fsb though.

Don't worry Legthigh, you're climbing the team rankings quickly enough as it is! I've canned all my folding for Christmas (had to turn off the work server and just can't afford the electricity to run Kali 24/7 (don't want to think about what'll happen when I get the extra 8800GTX and overclock everything ) so I won't be producing until January now I'm afraid guys: still, it'll let a few people catch up to me before I kick off again in the new year
Anyone know how easy it is to switch BIOS chips on an MSI K9A2 Platinum? I got one sold as seen and have tried every other BIOS rescue procedure I've been able to google up, to no avail. With 4 PCIe slots it'd make a lovely base for a GPU folding farm (add an Athlon II 605e and 4 recent NVidia cards and it should be a killer in terms of ppd/watt)...
