That'll be because you post about subjects other than how ace Arsenal are...

EDIT - ok, I just noticed Josh's sig and had to examine it in more detail. For the benefit of those with sigs disabled..

Now, correct me if I'm wrong guys (and I obviously know nothing about football, so I probably am), but a pitch being in a poor condition... isn't that a handicap for both teams? As such, and to paraphrase...

"We were focused and prepared to adapt. We knew the pitch was not that good. But it is still a handicap. If I give you a bike with one pedal you can still focus and prepare to adapt but you will still not be quicker than with two pedals, however you will be on equal footing with another guys racing you on a bike with one pedal unless he has had more chance to prepare. That is logic. And when the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown in to the sea"

    Re: Champions league Thread

    Great match, very entertaining

I feel sorry for Arsenal and in particular Theo Wallcot, all that hard work and then 5 seconds later a penalty. The penalty was a bit iffy though, if it was a penalty then the one at emirates should have been as well.

Anyhow I think Liverpool will beat Chelsea and go to the final. Saw a bit Chelsea today against Ferbenache and they dont look anything special.

ta, there was a thread on another forum where a pact was made, that whoever got through both sets of supporters would get behind. and i would have been happy to go along with that after the way arsenal played over the two legs. that game was worthy of a final no question.

    Well that shows how much I know, I predicted 0 - 0.

I agree about the penalty - it was almost exactly the same as a week ago. I think it was a penalty but the consistency is wrong. Somehow Liverpool just never lose on big European nights. Good luck to Arsenal in the league.

ManU and Barca - now there's a game!
They'd have made a better final I think.
Annoyed that Chelsea and Liverpool play each other again... its always boring football.
