Nice bike Although I don't think I'd call any single speed 'easy going'

I am currently torn between an On-One Carbon 456, and a Ragley mmmBop for my next bike, or maybe just blow all my money on a La Pierre Zesty 514
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

    Re: Mountain Bike thread?

been meaning to post here for a long time as i fitted on the upgrades while back

    with the new brake disks

with out the new brake disks, but just to show the fact the 160mm forks can go on 120mm frame, NICELY

I love those brake disks, No1 way of getting unwanted attention on trails, but it still kinda feels nice

    Thank you

I've heard only good things about the Carbon 456. Having said that last I heard they were hard to get hold of. Probably changed now - On-One are very popular but usually have their supply chain sorted once rushes are over.

Can't go wrong with a Ragley either!

But then neither are a Zesty Been looking at them myself. I'm looking for a trail-smashing decent all-rounder too. Though, I think I'm heading towards an Orange Five ...

You're a lucky one to get that fork for £150!

Luckier than me. I bought an Fox TALAS RC2 a year back for £150 - £200 and then spent £200 fixing the blasted thing!

what i havent sad is they have scratched stantion. the left one is a bit scratched, and as a result if i keep the bike upside down they leak a bit of oil, not a issue with me as you saw how i store it. and also in extremely muddy condition i been warned as mud getting in, doesnt bother me either

    Re: Mountain Bike thread?

Ah that's not too bad for the money. Just means you might need to service them a little more regularly.

How does the bike handle with them? Do you ever fully compress the fork when riding?

the bikes nice and soft now [comparing to DJ3s had], and well its now actually possible to use it for downhill, i dont tend to bottom them out alot as im a very light rider (im only 10stone) and well nice and bouncy

Bouncy can be fun :-) Forgot to set my Fox 120's up properly and went for my first bed in ride. Bounced around like a hobo on a pogo! :-)

Just checked them out. Cool idea

I don't think it screams 'cool', but if it works, it works. What bike do you have it on?
