Also who said i dont respect you guys in not following the world cup? your the ones moaning about the world cup not me. all im saying is why moan about how popular the world cup is. How is that showing respect by saying "i hate football, i will avoid it at all costs, people are daft for flying the english flag its boring its crap etc etc". Yea thats showing fantastic respect for us footy fans especialy the part about us parading the english flag

Thats slagging off the world cup and people who like it. get a grip man and stop moaning about the world cup coverage. Yea we get it, you hate it, now move on and enjoy the rest of your day doing whatever you do or got planned to do. I wont slag off your hobbies like your slagging off mine.
As is often the case, someone responds to a thread, and someone else moans about how they responded.

The thread asked "What are your plans". Mine are to avoid it as much as possible, and that's what I said.

You, on the other hand, are bitching about lack of respect for your hobby because I and some others answered the question in a way you don't like. You've called us "jokers" for doing so, and told us to respect your hobby. I'm pointing out that you expect us to respect your hobby, and yet you don't respect our right to not share it, and say so.

    You've told us
this is a free country mate learn how to respect peoples interests and hobbies.

If you are going to treat people in a belittling and patronising manner, by telling them to "get a grip", you are going to get a reaction from me.

You're right, it's a free country. Yet you want to tell us to "stop moaning", and "get a grip". You want to tell us what we can and can't post.

As I said earlier, take your own advice.

I didn't tell you to stop posting about your hobby, did I? So don't tell me (or others that share it) to stop posting our opinions. If you want to express you opinions on my "hobbies" (and good luck working out what they are, by the way), feel free.

Adverts aside, BBC streams are much better (smoother/detailed) than ITV streams aren't they?

Re: World Cup Plans - What's yous?

I never envisaged this post being quite so divisive!

The ITV advert timing was a howler, but their online portal (iplayer rip off) is quite amusing. The constant stream of banal comments to the left never fails to please!

I would usually stick up for rooney all day long ... however

if you dont want fans to boo, "pull your fingers out!!!"

People have paid lots of money to go and support you, if they want to boo hard lines, they have every right too ...

The only answer I can see is a public lashing on their return to the Empire would serve as deterent if they loose another game (mostly because I would love to see AC crying like a little girl)..
