    Hahaha....poor ole Red Nose.
Can he not see the irony in what he is moaning about this time?

Did Luiz foul Rooney ........ almost definitely, and the player should've walked for it with a second yellow card.

Should the oaf that is Rooney even been on the park last night, after he also definitely elbowed James McCarthy and got away scot free ......... absolutely not. He should have received a MINIMUM 4 match ban with immediate effect. Any non-british player would've, but we can never punish Rooney/Lampard/Gerrard and the likes.

Ferguson wants one rule for his brigade and another for everyone else.

This weekend will be strange for me, because just for the day, i will be a Liverpool fan.....c'mon Andy Carrol!

Did Luiz Foul Rooney? .. Yes, Should he have been sent off? .... Yes

Should we have had a Pen ourselves for Terry's handball? Yes

I have no argument for the Vidic Sending off, it was 2 yellow cards,

Should Rooney have been playing anyway? No .. no one can defend what he did at weekend not even the most bias of Utd Fans including me. But the problem was the referee in all fairness, the double jepordy rule was in Rooneys favour on this one, as wrong as it is there wasnt alot the FA could do about... 110% that this rule needs scrapping.

The game in short is we outplayed them in the first half and it was reverse in the second, a draw would have been a fair result.

However its certainly not the end of the world and would even say that will spur us on even more at weekend against Liverpool, UTD very rarely lose 2 games on the bounce, hopefully Rio will be back on sunday (although he is still pretty doubtful)

Re: Premier League 10/11- Discussion Thread

The problem for Liverpool is that Vidic normally gets sent off against them, so they'll have to come up with a game plan against 11 men for once.

Apparently Fergie has confirmed that Brown will partner Smalling against Liverpool.

The game plan last year seemed to work pretty well of score twice and don't let you score

Re: Premier League 10/11- Discussion Thread

I am hugely torn for saturdays match. I really want us to trounce Man u And i suspect that Kenny/Steve Clarke will come up with a very good tactical plan as they did against chelsea.

THe problem i have with sunday is we could decide who gets the title. If we beat man u arsenal could theoretically go top (as long as they don't choke under pressure) And i really dont want Man u winning the league.

But JEEZ imagine how smug Blitzen and josh would be if arsenal won the league We'd never hear the end of it

To be honest I still think United is going to win it. But like every other year it will come down to the last few games. Makes it more exciting

I do think the refereeing at the stamford bridge matches for the last three years has been woeful though.

Re: Premier League 10/11- Discussion Thread

    I'll get in first

Firstly well played Liverpool yesterday, as much as it pain's me to say, we were totally out played in every area, yes Carragher should have a red card for a shocking tackle, but to be perfectly honest it probably wont have made any difference.

Probably the worst we played in a long time, we played better when you won 4-1 at OT. Everything we did yesterday lacked heart, where with Liverpool it was the oposite.

I still think we will win the league but these 2 defeats on the bounce will give everyone else in the top 4 a big lift.

So well played Liverpool for making this particular Monday worse than all the others

Was a great match. Carraghers tackle was awful and should have been a red card. when I first saw it I thought typical nani diving especially after he had got up to run over to the ref and went down when gerrard touched him. now i`ve seen the gash it was awful.

The next flashpoint should have seen rafael go as well but thats the way things go.

I do think you`ll win the league still but thats only because the other teams challenging are throwing away points. Rooney needs to be dropped atm but for some reason fergie wont.

One more thing How good is suarez The first goal was made out of nothing by him and every time he got on the ball he looked dangerous.

I agree that Rafael tackle was also worthy of a red, however you could argue that if Carra was sent off that it might not have happened, but indeed that's the way things go, agree that Suarez looked very good yesterday his movement is first class and will cause teams lots of problems.

I agree with you on Rooney, he has played crap all season yet he is never dropped, i fail to see why this is, why not give Chica a bit of a run with Berbatov ? he has shown that he can be a match winner which is more than i can say about Rooney of late.

Brown was thrown in at the deep end yesterday also. not that we had much option, but he has played 2 games from the start all season and you could tell, he was all over the place.

And yet again shows the lack of creativity in midfield, we are crying out for a midfield ball player, lets hope the summer will bring us a new face that isnt just a work horse.
