Agree on Vidic, not to sure about Evra, he'd not as good as Cole, but better than Clichey.

End of the day, it's becoming a game where the young and best players want to play for the team that will play them the most money rather than where they will play the best football..

I disagree, although i think cole is good, i would say Evra is better, but as they say Football is all about opinions, i respect your views but i still think Evra is a better player. also on Ferdinand, hes way better than Alex, Kompany, Toure, Vermahalen. i think he is better than Terry also but the margin is closer between those two.

I do agree that the gap is getting smaller between all the teams though, i remember when 90% of the UTD players would get in any team in the world, unfortunatley for the moment that isnt the case.

I know im going to be bias as is any supporter, but i do massively rate other players at other clubs, for instance Essien, Torres, Van Persie etc,

The thing that worries me the most... soon, we are going to lose at least 4 players, Scholes, Giggs and Neville, and Van Der Sar who is going to replace these guys .... if they all retire at the same time we're screwed, the new additions are not up to it, not so much neville because he has been a regular for some time, but the other three is what worries me, bad state of affairs when we hve to rely on 3 players over 35.

You could use some youth players, worked OK about 10 years ago

Re: Premier League 10/11- Discussion Thread

^^ Yeah, but some are not ready, i watch alot of UTD reserves and Youth Games, and there is some really good players coming through but these guys are 16-17 and wont be ready for 3/4 years. our youth players are not as good in quantity as the ones 10/15 years ago.

There are only 2 players i would say are nailed on UTD quality and thats a young kid called "Ravel Morrison" who is going to be a world class player and hes only 16/17 atm, and Paul Pogba who is very much a patrick viera sort of player, those 2 look the part, others i cant see making the grade, but i hope they prove me wrong.

Re: Premier League 10/11- Discussion Thread

Evra/Ferdinand would walk in any of those teams
    You must be joking.
As much as i loathe Judas 'Cole', Evra isn't even worthy of standing Cole's shadow.
Ashley 'the mobile phone prodding' Cole, is the best left back in the world by quite a margin.

Chelsea (the only other team to challenge utd record)
Give those red tinted specs a quick clean fella as they are clouding your vision.
    Premier League titles.
    Arsenal 3 - Chelsea 3

you forget we only lost it by 1 point last year
Forgive me if i'm worng, but the key word i have highlighted in red.

Re: Premier League 10/11- Discussion Thread

Lets not start counting premier league title, because you will lose ....

"As much as i loathe Judas 'Cole', Evra isn't even worthy of standing Cole's shadow" - All i can say to that is LOL

Like i said in my previous post football is about about opinions, not sure who you support but im sure you are bias towards your team like everyone is, but i fail to see anything that makes me believe even for a second that Cole is better ....

You also laugh at Ferdinand ... errr ok .... may be you can let us know why he wouldnt get in any other team ?

Also im not saying that i dont rate Cole, i do he is by far "Englands" best left back but again like right back, what other players even come close at the moment (none i dont think, although i think Gibbs will be the next in line, with good reason as he look a really good player)

I wasn't challenging the amount of titles Man-Yoo have won.
I was however challenging your notion that, as you stated earlier, 'Chelsea are the only team to challenge Utd's record' which is clearly wrong.

Its not wrong though. Utd have won far more titles that any of the previous teams (apart from liverpool, but thats another argument), im not trying to argue with you, if you could explain a little what you mean as im not sure how/what stats you are referring to ..

I hope United sell Rooney for a huge amount, I hope they make someone like City or Chelsea pay way over the odds for him. After all we'll (Everton) get 25% of the Profit.

Holloway doesn't seem to be able to understand how contracts work, some of his analogies are proper stupid:
