rumours are going around that hamilton and co could be kicked out of f1. now do some of you still feel thats a fair decision over a mistake that the team made?
here is the actual recordings of what hamilton and the team said:

Hamilton did nothing wrong , listen to it yourself lads, they first told him to let him overtake him and then they changed there minds and told him NOT to let truli overtake him but he already did..
what is ham suppose to do if someone goes off the track while the safety car is deployed?
im struggling to see what hamilton did wrong. can anyone please explain. plus i heard someone from the mclaren team has quit.
Where did you read that? The maximum penalty is exclusion from this years championship, they can't literally kick them out of the sport. I don't think anyone's disagreed on the notion of further penalisation, have they?
They won't get an exclusion either, they've already had that for something which is/isn't (depending how you look at it) suitable for the crime.
yes i understand that and im not saying hamiton should get away with it but what im asking is what did hamilton HIMSELF do wrong?
he done what he was told
All the stewards had to do was decide who was 3rd and 4th.That's it no penalty to anyone. But no they overcomplicate things and involve a third issue of "misleading" .
is "misleading" the stewards in the F1 rule book?
Th FIA or whatever their called are going to do further investigation and thats where this rumour came from that its possible that hamilton and the team could be kicked out of this seasons F1.Where did you read that? I think the gist of it is that Hamilton originally told the stewards that he had no orders to let Tulli pass him, so when Trulli did so he was penalised.
After hearing the radio transcripts it would seem that Hamilton did recieve orders and did let Trulli pass meaning that Trulli got unfairly punished.
Hamilton's being punished for not telling the whole truth in the stewards' enquiry which resulted in another driver being unfairly penalised to the benefit of Hamilton and McLaren.
I think Hamilton is being treated unfairly, surely if a driver goes off the track while the safery car is out, through his own fault, then surely the driver can't expect to just slot back into position?
Now if he were forced of the track in one way or another then yes I would understand the driver being given the spot back.
But as the recording's show/ say Hamilton DID eventually let Trulli pass.
That was already mentioned in James Allen's blog. Again, the maximum penalty is exclusion from this years championship - which won't happen. If it does, I think FOTA will actually go on strike, despite how much Hamilton isn't liked in the paddock. It's all fair and well to make an example of a driver not to lie or omit truths, but there is no need to go further, they've made their point.Th FIA or whatever their called are going to do further investigation and thats where this rumour came from that its possible that hamilton and the team could be kicked out of this seasons F1.
Dave Ryan, McLaren's sporting director, has been suspended.
from the bbc ticker thingy
0856: Wow. Far more earth-shaking that what happened in practice is fresh news emerging from the McLaren camp regarding the Lewis Hamilton Australian GP disqualification saga: sporting director Dave Ryan has actually been suspended after 34 years with the team. "His role in the events of last Sunday, particularly his dealings with the FIA stewards, has caused serious repercussions for the team, for which we apologise," said McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh.

Yes, interesting that. It was clear yesterday that Martin Whitmarsh either didn't have the full picture or was lying... It's quite possible that Lewis was acting under team orders in the original interview with the stewards too - it's easy to imagine him just doing what the team ask of him. Of course Dave Ryan could just be the scapegoat too!
