Very nice - bet you paid a pretty penny for that
My friend has one of those, goes like a stabbed rat
He also used to have a Golf GTI which was supercharged, that thing was mental, then someone set it on fire
Ohhh they are quick little beggars Enjoy
Gotta love the old school Some real nice additions here - loving the BMWs and the Yeti too (I'm strangely drawn to the new skodas, i think I just like the styling). Anyway, had my LCR a while, still love her, done a few bits and pieces, but nothing too major, as have a baby now The miles are racking up on her and I wonder what I will get when its time for her to go - the LCR is a lot of money for the relative performance and utility... anyway cross that bridge when it comes!!
Here are some pics if you are interested. I mainly just like cleaning her. Somethign about black cars. Shame I dont get the time nowadays...
And one more here - hoping she didnt blow up
Any idea why pics on these forums dont have a size toggle bar at the top like on some other forums?

You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?

My 'odd jobs' secondary motor. A 'compact' 4L stright six at the front pushing a whopping 190bhp. 85,000 so it's barely run in.
I did use 'whopping' as a tongue in cheek term. The red line is somewhere around 5000rpm although it makes over 200ft lbs of torqe from the moment you pull off.
The beauty of it is, I've had a couple of them running just the same as the day they where first registered having covered 250,000 miles. They'll put up with overheating and total disreguard for servicing. There are people that take them in to the 300+ range, but it's a cracking motor for the job as it stands. Undertuning is a good thing for a workhorse!
LOL just for a laugh...
My car:
1998 Ford KA 1.3
Not stylish
Not fast
But very cheap to run
Been receiving email updates for this thread for the last 4 and a half years, should probably post my 'latest' car in it.
Lotus Elise S1 from 1998, owned it now since March 2008 when I chopped in my MX-5 for it.
Spent the first 2 years running it as my daily driver, but now I have my parents old Subaru Forester so it's a garage queen and does around 2,000 miles per year. Made a few changes to it since then including Gaz Gold Pro suspension (I know it's not the best, but I got a fantastic deal on it and the Koni's were leaking) and Exige seats with Schroth harnesses.
Very basic inside, even for an Elise. Speakers and original seatbelts were removed and stored when I changed the seats, just looking for a long dash panel to come up for sale so I can remove the headunit without being left with a big hole in the dash.
These days I help with the running of SELOC, the UKs largest Lotus Owners Club, and am considering changing the Forester for a Lotus Excel, mostly to get some experience of running a 'classic' car - although don't tell the missus
I've not posted in here since 2006 so a few updated pics

My other love in my life, sorry if its bad taste to some of you, but just cant stand to be the same as other folks. And i know the bonnet and door are different colours, but its still work in progress
Nearly two years ago I have swapped the bachelor's Prelude for a married man's family saloon. It's larger, comfier and more practical. It also does more to the gallon. So a family man's choice. The fact it happens to be a bit faster as well had nothing to do with it, honest officer!
It took me a while to find one with cream leather - something I liked in the Prelude and wanted to continue.
Hope Zak approves
