Presumably it's prices at the time of purchase - if AMD were aiming to release at the same time as skt 1366 which they seem to be suggesting, then the huge delay works in their favour. It's far more than the 50% increase you'd expect going from dual to triple channel (for the same density).

    Here are the actual slides:

    http://www.donanimhaber.com/islemci/...onuclari_1.htm

Basically, the CineBench score is only a tiny bit better than the Phenom II X6 1100T. However,it is strange there is no actual slide showing the results for the AMD Bulldozer processor tested.

The scoripus platform says Radeon 6000. I assume that means the 7000s won't be out soon then? Probably out near to Piledriver, to be part of that platform?

Hopefully, this means x264 performance on Bulldozer will improve:

    Re: AMD - Bulldozer Chitchat

I think some of you are missing the important points of the post:

"A note to everyone who is arguing about whether or not the slides that have been floating the last 3 or 6 months are real or not. Do you not remember the last GPU launch?

Did we not warn you that there would be more fud floating the next time round? Did we not warn you that this is SOP for AMD at this point? No info out, only fud.

I'm kind of tired of reading the same arguments go roudn and round and am becoming very tempted to close this thread until closer to launch.

And yes, Drashek is right, we will know more by Thanksgiving because both sandy-e and bd SHOULD have launched by then. It's a fairly safe timeframe to guess at. "

This guy is admin on semi-accurate,ie,the website run by Charlie Demerjian and they AFAIK they are friends. Knowing him he generally has had accurate information about AMD in the past and the parts in bold are the important parts.

SOP means standard operating practice and in the past AMD has indicated at least with their GPU launches that they disseminate multiple specifications and information to determine leaks. How many people knew anything really concrete about the HD4000,HD5000 and HD6000 shader numbers and performance levels before launch??

The second part is about the Thanksgiving holiday which is the first week of November in the US.

Another point you perhaps should read through the whole 188 page thread and the related ones and there is more swearing, name calling and trolling in the threads over there than say on Hexus. Even when warned not too, some of the members keep on trolling until they have to be banned for a while.

This is an example of the trolling by one of the well known Intel fanbois on the website:

"To AMD all of us are only walking 100 dollar bills, so they deserve this, no humanity, no justice, nothing."

However, the same chap never says a bad word against Intel and will defend them to the hilt as he owns an Intel setup.

Why on earth don't these tech companies subtitle their youtube videos. Don't they realise some of us either won't ro can't listen to their videos at work, even when they're work relevant? I'd love to know what AMD has to say about its new processors, and as the person who makes all the hardware buying decisions for my unit it's very work relevant, but I have no idea what he's trying to say!!!

Pause. Hit 'CC'. Select transcribe audio. Select OK. Play.

Giggle occasionally as it gets it wrong.

Why is it only available in arse-wipe quality as well. Hmph.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

IIRC, that really caught NVIDIA off guard for the 6000 release. They were expecting pretty mediocre competition, but the 6000 were preeeeettty damn good

    I just saw this:

However, according to Dresdenboy they were not using the latest version of AGESA a few weeks ago(even though it is stated as the final version in the article).
