I just got this yesterday; that deal was too good to pass up. Pretty good game so far.

10 hours old in the game and done each campaign once. Did Dead Air and Bloody Harvest on advanced and tried No Mercy on expert. Dead Air and Bloody Harvest were completed but was quite challenging. No Mercy on expert...we all died at the helipad So close.

The versus mode is fun though its fustrating at the same time.

I'm finding Versus the same. Until a couple of days ago, I thought I must have been really rubbish, because I was never on the winning team. It's nice when you pull off some good tactics though.

...and that is the situation I find myself in, playing on either side (survivor or infested). As survivor for example, I'll do the standard "cover peoples backs" as the team mates I sometimes have are all trigger happy solo wannabe heroes; but then my team mates will run off and leave me far enough behind to get picked off...numpties. As infested, depending on who I am, I tend to have to wait for an opportunity either waiting to spawn or waiting in ambush. Again, solo wannabe infested heroes think a hunter can take on all 4 survivors or better yet, someone as a tank is beating some downed survivor who has been puked on, at the same time killing the hordes arriving to do that specific job

I'mnot saying I am amazing but I try and work in a team...no matter how crap I maybe.

I've found Boomers and Tanks are probably the only ones that can "solo" effectively. Hunters and Smokers really need to ambush at the same time, to incapacitate as many survivors at once and slow down the time it takes to free themselves. Unless of course you can pick a survivor off on their own.

all the steam community members should see the hexus server in the community tab when they start the game, i still need a few hexites to pm there steam id's for the admin app so you can change maps.

to join the hexus steam group, post in the thread http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-gaming...ighlight=steam

once a member the hexus zombie server will show in the steam group server section when going to join a game

it also shows in the launch screen once the games loaded, although it can take a while to show, but its usually there within 30 seconds

its a private steam group server, but none members can join a friend playing on the server from what i saw the other night !

Especially with versus, this game is so much better when you play in a team with your mates. Mics are a must, for at least 2 members of the team.

Well I've just had and enjoyable first online game, I ended up being outside the elevator in the No Mercy campaign when it started going up

I couldn't stop laughing at that moment cos it was immediately apparent that they'd taken this sort of situation into account, because Zoey made an appropriate comment as all I could do was watch the elevator rise away...then the horde came and ripped me to shreds

Were you in co-op or versus?

Oh and playing as the Tank is fun if there are objects to throw around.

Ahh and one game, as the infested, we did really well. I was a smoker and as the survivor team left the safe room the infested attacked They all died and I had Zoey all to myself until she died up the side of a tall building. I could see my fellow infested team mates doing an absolutely brilliant job mullering the enemy.

Ahh co-op Want to do it on expert...its really quite tough
