    I have a growing hate for the AI team mate bots...when I approached a witch to kill her (as she is in the way..and its fun trying to single shot them) the AI bot threw me pills...so two things happen. 1 - I startle the witch, 2 - I am trying to kill her with a packet of pills.

    Think PC users probably got the patch a while before the Xbox did,
    anyhow, here's a list of changes/fixes.

    General
    Fixed Survivors being able to climb surfaces marked for versus infected only
    Fixed a class of SurvivorBot bugs dealing with rescuing downed players
    Players can no longer grab ladders while flying through the air after a Tank punch
    Shooting near a car with an alarm that has already fired the alarm will no longer make chirping noises

    Increased chance of getting the Tank or Witch
    Fixed team swap issue

    Hunter
    Easier to pounce a Survivor who is meleeing
    Increased Minimum damage a Hunter pounce does

    Smoker
    Fixed Smoker tongue tolerance
    Smoker now has to be killed or the tongue destroyed for the tongue to break
    Survivors cannot bash someone off the tongue until the Survivor being pulled is paralyzed or hanging
    Tongue attacks that fail to paralyze or hang a Survivor will use the shorter ability delay timer
    Fixed cases where the ability timer was not using the correct time
    Fixed case where you could point at a Survivor but not register a tongue hit
    Fixed Smoker tongue not targeting and landing properly through PZ ghosts
    Smoker tongue does damage every second while dragging paralyzed Survivors

    Tank
    Bashable objects now appear with a red glow
    Tanks hitting a car with an alarm disables the alarm permanently
    Tank frustration timer is only reset by hitting Survivors with rocks or fists
    Reduced autoshotgun damage against Tanks

    Witch
    Witch spawns at the same % through the map for both teams
    Avoids spawning within a certain % of the tank
    Fixed an exploit where the Witch could be woken up and tricked into attacking Survivors

    Really? Am pretty sure I have set the witch off 2 or 3 times while as infected Much fun watching the panic ensue when witch comes running at the survivors (even better when the witch incaps a survivor )

    They still need to fix the fact that some servers set up for "normal" game will pause as it's waiting for the infected/survivor to "ready up" and there for the game is now a Versus match. Played VS with 2 humans on Dead Air like that. Much fun (though glitchy with missing textures).

    Does anyone else think they should include the effects of momentum in the damage of Hunter pounces?
    Its just that I've pounced survivors from the top of buildings before without doing any damage because I'm shot straight away, would be good if it had a bit more of an effect.

    Hmm, I dont think survivors would last long as the Hunter once pounced an opponent, incaps them straight away and if the Hunter does uber damage on the pounce, it'll make the hunter almost a 1 man hero team. As it is, the Hunter and Smoker are ambush characters and that's how I like to play it. Find somewhere out the way, follow the survivors and depending on who does what to upset the coherency of the survivors I pounce on the first victim who strays too far...I may not kill them but I'd damage them for awhile. Too often in publics do you see "solo hero" hunters...jump in, pounce and die instantly without damaging the survivor. However if the survivors are all packed in and you can punce from above, the effect of pounce has a knock back effect which allows other characters, like Boomer, to get in close and do his bit and if he explodes, more knock back and the original pounced is still tearing away

    Yeah but the problem with that is that hardly anyone seems to wants to bloody talk, making decent ambushes possible.

    The only time the Hunter can be effective on its own is in places like where you drop down into the cornfield on blood harvest (towards the end) If one of the survivors falls behind, you can pounce them and they have no chance of rescue because they're hidden from the other survivor's line of sight.

    theres loads of places for hunters you just have to adapt to the situation at hand

    Protip - set yourself on fire as a hunter, you do a TON of extra damage.

    I've noticed that theres a hexus server, is anyone interested in a game at a set time/day on a regular basis?

    Monday nights at 7 with some of my friends and I, as an example.

    Had another epic moment with TAKTAK last night. We were messing around on Dead Air on easy (how easy is easy??!!). Anyway we were just tank hunting at the end; the plane was ready to go. We managed to lure a tank into the plane with us As the cut scene rolled the tank fell out the bottom of the plane

    Why can't we take the tank back home with us?

    Lets have a hexus L4D versus game!! :-)

    I could probably setup a L4D server on my old P4 machine, I'd imagine that would run it fine... got 1.5mbps upstream so anyone in the UK should get decent ping!

    I think they need to reduce the flaming hunter damage as it's a bit overpowered imo, although I do like exploiting it myself ha.

    It is a wee bit overpowered, but you also lose any stealth capabilities.

    hexus has a dedicated L4D, no one came forward to admin it though ?

    so long as your in the hexus steam group you can join it.

    A few of us (me, Sleepyhead and TAKTAK) tried the Hexus server last weekend but it was a bit rough connection wise for all 3 of us, and it liked to boot everybody out on each map change
