Maybe the Critics Edition is just going to be for Xbox and PC version owners will get the content for nothing. Not that Microsoft like that.
I remember seeing an interview with Valve about the downloadable content - for the PC it will be freeas they set the pricing on Steam, but with XBox Live, Microsoft wont let them give anything for free so they will change the minimum allowed in their contract... basically you're just paying Microsoft to use the Live marketplace...
I hate it when microsoft rips us off,us XBL users pay alot of money on games, accessories and xbox live every year and then we have to go buy points to pay for downloadable content...hell we even have to "rent films" which costs like 250 SD 500 HD and they only last for like 3-5 days
Yeah, we've bought the game (which already costs significantly more than the PC version in most cases) and then they make us pay for add ons?? If the game came with the add-ons included, it wouldn't cost any more to buy! With PC games, nearly all add-ons are free AFAIK, plus you can also get custom maps for some games - also free.
A friend of mine told me about a hunter pounce he performed - at the second last map of No Mercy. He pounced one, and the rest of were all nearby, were all instantly incap'd, cause they were right next to the edge of the roof.

been holding back on this for a while due to games backlog, although I keep wanting to buy it. Just checked on steam and they are having:
50% Off L4D this weekend only so it works out at £13.49 - which plops is straight into affordable bargain territory. Just a heads up for those who havent got it yet. Am buying as we speak!
