Is it me, or have they messed with the AI/generation of items on Expert? You dont get ANY molo/pipes on the finales unless you die 5/6 times, then you get 4 of each :/ and then it resets it and you have to do it again.

Dunno, never made it to the finale on expert TAKTAK, Zadock and I try to be solo heroes and die quickly (and at the same time annoy a german player). Ahh lots of laughs

EDIT: Ahh and acheivements are back

IS this game any good because I have heard odd reports about the game and some of the reviews are knocking it and others are saying it's the best game of 2009.

@ Jonessie - It's brilliant for an hour or so in the evening. It's not something i'll play for hours on end, but i find myself coming back to it all the time to blow off some steam. Definately better with some mates

Wouldn't recommend it unless you can get atleast 1 friend to play it with you, randoms on steam are absolutely horrible, otherwise amazing game.

Do you mean in campaign or versus?

Can't really speak for versus, but i've met a few really good players randomly, and most aren't that bad. Even when you get an awful group who never heals anyone and leaves people behind, it can be fairly entertaining.

If you join the hexus steam group, there're usually a few forumites online anyway

Well, from my limited experience, I'd say mainly campaign. There's always some idiot who'll shoot a car or run ahead and forget everyone else.
I say limited experience because for the last few months I've been unable to play anything due to having a crappy 8400gs, finally getting my hands on some real parts in the next couple weeks though, I'll join the hexus group then and see how it goes

It's fantastic - you just need to be ready to devote a few hours to a session, and often to find a decent server. It's been better much more recently - or at least I've not had my sessions destroyed by high pingers lagging the servers

I'm still not sure how he managed to get into a "friends only" game?! but we did annoy him, to the point he got on the mic sounding very frustrated. Clearly they do things differently in Germany lol! I don't think he was very impressed when I incapped him with a headshot at 50 yards either, mind you I did that to sleepy as well whilst trying to get the horde off of him.

I think I'll be playing with colossus a fair bit and since he has just got the game I don't think he will be doing expert any time soon.
