You missed a funny finale last night after you went over to versus... we hid in the bathroom again! the tank got stuck in the dinning room window and that poor french chap got dragged out of the escape vehicle and incapped at the last moment.

I got quite bored watching the zombie killage so left for some versus action - of which the winning team voted back to the lobby when on the second map, my team actually killed one of theirs.
Who was that french dude? Did you ever add "I need first aid man" to your friends list?
I nearly took down TAKTAK - zombies got in my way...purposefully setting off the alarm hence the horde arrive when I am in the middle of limbo; payback time Such a shame that you got smokered at the same time...
I need to do more versus I think, I don't know the tactics and I usually get taken out pretty sharpish when I'm a zombie though I did manage to kill francis when it was 4 of your versus me... but you just left him to die lol!

Server we were in was pants. Whether I was dead or alive the server wouldn't let me change sides. TAKTAK also failed to be able to change teams.
Anyhow, basic tactics of infected is just to work at least in pairs. Oh and usually best to think outside the box when thinking of where and when to spawn. When is important as smokers and boomers naturally make loud noises when stationary unlike hunters who are silent when stood still. It's also nice when you time your spawn together and can attack simultaneously, split the group of survivors and generally pick on one survivor.
I think we should have another crack at expert mode soon but perhaps on a different campaign, other than no mercy, it was really hard to take that tank down in the subway esp with the piddly weapons.
Had a proper go on vs last night; thats great fun when your an infected and are on the same wave length as your team. With the guys I played with we'd incapped and killed all 4 survivors before they'd managed to get passed the first mini finale
Got some abuse for it unfortunately but it was really funny.

Abuse for what? Seems rather extreme to give abuse if you are playing the game properly! I been on the losing side alot and whether infected or survivors you appreciate how the other team works AS a team.
The updates have made the campaign slightly more of a challenge. Even on Normal (or was it easy?) TAKTAK and I encountered two tanks at the same time on NM3. ie I was getting pummeled by a tank and so was TAKTAK in the SAME room.
Basically abuse for beating them, one guy logged off having providing several homosexual insults... all it was was strategic incapping and boomering so pretty standarded stuff just distraction so the boomer can give close enough to deliver the goods lol!
I've not been a tank yet! looking forward to giving that a try.

Buh...tank is both good and lame. It depends on what your team mates do. Tank generally can get outrun by healthy survivors or at least maintain a safe distance. The other infected in my eyes are supposed to be spotters for the tank and even be bait - molotovs are a tanks worse enemy. For me, the tank is used as a weapon to down the survivors and use the hunters/boomers to deal the rest of the damage. The downed survivors make great bait for the tank. Bad tank players randomly slap everything forgetting the tank KILLS infected.
Have you hit the genocide achievement yet?
the only problem after getting that will be that there is no running total! you won't know how many you've killed anymore?

Am about 48k at the moment. Nearly there...nearly there I decided to get the "Red Mist" acheivement so just played the campaign maps with the mounted machine gun Did that in a few goes.
I'm up to something like 600/1000 on that one... so not far to go.

Left 4 Dead is great, but the new maps are taking forever to be released, don't see any reason why, since you can play them in modded servers already.
NNOOO!!!!! All my achievements are gone...all 46 of them Where did they go?
