If he is indeed a professional tester then he is remarkably ignorant of some basics.

I mean he say's he's heard lots of bad things about DX10 and XP, yeah like how perhaps XP doesn't do DX10 at all.

what i meant is i heard alot of bad things about DX10 running on XP, wich i am not surprised at all, DX10 was built for Vista and later, not for XP.

believe it or not, i am jealous of XP

Downloading the demo now. The servers are probably getting hammered though as its going really slow.

Not yet. Being downloading since 4.30 this afternoon, currently at 85%. I have just swtiched over to the scandavian region as on the totalwar.com forum someone said it was a faster download but it is still slow as hell

Switch your region in settings in steam to Taiwan. D/L has just gone up to 200kb/s +

pretty good demo, i'm liking it so far. had DL speeds from 1.2mbs to 200 kbs
