Mebbe it's just a ploy...
Mebbe they want to get people all annoyed and then BAM, they release DN:F
Sad, sad news =[
No more 3D Realms or Apogee
"3D Realms was founded in 1987 by Scott Miller and George Broussard, and was best known for its Duke Nukem series of shooters starring the titular, bubblegum-lacking hero. The studio had infamously been working on Duke Nukem Forever, the next flagship franchise entry, for the past 13 years".
Lol
Wow, I can't help but think everyone is going to think this was an inevitability... it's a huge shame though as I would have killed for another Duke Nukem! I reckon they should release all the last builds of the several versions they did for their fans haha. I know during those 13 years they jumped through like 43240 game engines and different attempts, so that would be pretty fun lol!
What's sad though is that this version that they were working on now looked like the one that could have been actually finished and released!
Now hopefully they could sell off the IP to Duke and maybe, just maybe, lets say within the next 100 years we may see a DN:F xD
Shame to see them go though.
Steam: (Grey_Mata) || Hexus Trust
I was looking forward to DN:F too...shame.
Anyone else feel kinda relieved?
