Re: Old games that would be awesome remade

I would love to see the 3 Last Ninja games released as one complete title from start to finish, of course in full 3D. Ninja Gaiden is just not the same really but at present the closest thing to the Last Ninja series.

It would be monumental, starting in old Japan and working its way to modern day then into a spiritual void for the final battle. It could be done and would be amazing.

Re: Old games that would be awesome remade

There is an article over on arstechnica about playing classic isometric adventure games on a modern tablet PC. Apparently some of these games can be patched so that they run correctly at the much higher resolutions available on modern hardware, and the hand drawn graphics look awesome when they are allowed to fill a large and fine pixel pitch screen.

I can't believe Full Throttle hasn't had a mention in 7 pages yet there are plenty of votes for other LucasArts classics...

Just managed to get scummvm for my HTC Hero on Android and playing full throttle on a touchscreen rocks even harder, especially as the game runs so well on it

Anyone who hasn't seen it, watch the full FVM cut..

Re: Old games that would be awesome remade

I know the guys doing Goldeneye Source are doing a multiaplyer mod for half life 2 but I'd love to see the single player remade. Also Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, one of my favourite games of all time, would be amazing to see that with brand spanking new graphics and sounds.

Salazaar's summed it up pretty well.

Although for some reason I could never get the ending where you escape with the dancer - only where you escape with her teenage daughter... o_o

+1 for a remake of the original Deus Ex - it was simply the finest game

tried to get the HD mods to work, but to no avail...

Magic carpet! My favourite of all the old Bullfrog games. I wouldn't mind a new Wing Commander: Privateer game either.

For me I don't think think a remake could improve these games - infact I would play them again now if I could dedicate the skill and patience

    For me, Speedball 2.
Remake or update was done in 2007 call Speedball 2 Tournament - was pretty good but this is your remake.

I would love to see this done again - same style and 3d environment.

I would like to see a up to date version of Xenon 2 personally, but Transport tycoon I see popped up a few times, that game stole alot of my time when it was released.
