Well I've unlocked something now, no idea what it is called. But I am getting more kills. However, I find that incredibly ridiculous. Sure, I can sit here for 3 hours a night, and just farm XP to unlock all the really cool weapons. But then skill doesn’t come into the equation does it. The game rewards people who farm XP and just live on the servers. That isn’t fun.

That being said, I can still hold my own against what I consider to be obvious BF players. I mean for the love of god, have you not heard of flanking? Time after time I’ve accidently wandered behind enemy lines (that’s my ET:QW training coming into play) and found myself with 3 enemies standing in front of me with no idea I am there, and I just mow them down (well try to mow them down, not easy when they are like lvl20, with hugh armour and awesome guns).

Yea like i said mate, these sorts of fps games are becoming more like mmo games. i've heard of flanking but dont know what it is

You do have to be a proper addict for this game to get your ranks up. I am only rank 6/7 and there are already servers with lvl 40+ players xD

My prob exactly - hence my use of the rpg at close range, it's the only weapon of any use.

I'd say the weapon balance is quite good even for beginners - don't get me wrong, I long for the M16 and M8 LMG.

Edit: the medic kit is sodding useless against any type of vehicle as far as i can tell.

I am sorry, but are you on crack? Let me give you a scenario. Player A joins. Player A is a noob, lvl-zero. Only has that ****ty AEK something available to him. Player B joins. Player B is a lvl 20 saddo. He has upgraded armour, M60 and those MGM bullets.

Where in the world does balanced come into it?!

They do on this! You just have to unlock it first, it comes pretty early to the sniper class.

I can understand having to unlock the mortar strike since you have C4 anyway, but what was a bit dumb (in my opinion) was having to unlock both the defribs and the medic pack on the medic class. So if you picked it for the first time, there's literally nothing medic about it :/

The medic gun is pretty good though, good all rounder. Just nothing to do whatsoever about vehicles (understandibly, how overpowered would that class be if you could).

I'm getting absolutely blown to pieces by everyone and it's really starting to ruin the game. All I want is a war game where things are as even as possible. But no, you get the server-whores who are level 5,000,000,000,000 who you couldn't kill even if you put the gun right on his skull.. It's stupid. Waste of £25.

You must of misunderstood, I was referring to the medic class not having any type of anti-vehicle weapons - like it did on BC1 where it had the mortar strike.

I know what you mean Matt. I just played on the a hardcore server and it was rubbish half the opposing team was just snipers dropping mortars every few secs. then you have the medics which are as good as the assault class.

DICE have really messed this up for the pc big time
