Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Anyone else having issues tonight? my server browser just keeps timing out and saying can't connect to EA online.
No - I got on easily. (My problem is trying to kill people with a rusty AK47 and no skillz.)
EDIT: Also no crashes - touch wood

Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Personally like the medic class, easy to get points as you get plently for bringing peeps back to life.
Finnaly got sabot rounds for my shotgun, pumpy plus sabots plus magnum ammo, 1 hit death at long range
My Magnum Ammo makes no difference :|
I play assault mostly, cant seem to hit anything when I play recon. Medic is good fun though I think the machineguns they carry are a bit over powered.
Like engineer in conquest but not in rush.
Tried flying a couple of times, ended in disaster and abuse
N00b question - how do you open the ammo/health boxes ?

You don't their automatic when you stand near them.
Yeah you will see your ammo going up in the corner, less obvious is the health crate, that reduces the blood around your screen =)
seems they have released a patch, whats it like anyone?
It hasnt really fixed many of the things people would consider important

My thoughts on the game...
Well glad to say the new patch fixed my crashes to desktop. Had a massive session last night and I really started to enjoy it. Only problem was the server was being flaky and restarting all the time.
I hate the fact that newbies like me are being owned by guys who are at much higher levels than me. I mean the top most used gun last night on the server must have been that M60. If I was truly a noob to this type of gaming I would be put off and wouldn’t play again.
I have always been against persistent unlocks, and would much prefer a game that rewards you for skill. Not the amount of hours/points you can rack up to unlock the good stuff.
That being said, I intend on logging in tonight and carrying on having fun. At the moment I am still learning the game/ropes. But with all my old fragmates from ET:QW, it has just become like the old times
Exactly what I did on MW2. Too frustrating.
+1 Similar to ETQW but the hours required to get a decent weapon is extremely annoying. My only chance is to loot the dead, get a couple of kills before the mortar fire blows me away. heh Got the shotgun last night and took down two people who tripped over me as I cowered from a mortar barrage.

Fully agree mate. i bloody hate unlocking stuff the more you blooming play. its quickly turning fps games into mmo's which i hate and dont have the time to be playing games liek this 20 hours a week.
Seriously i am againts unlocking stuff like this. Im only level 4 and i have had this game since day freaking one. no way will i reach level 100 before bfbc3 comes out
MW2 is worse though as that unlocjks bloody perks that make u stronger/faster/more accurate blah blah blah
Well I've unlocked something now, no idea what it is called. But I am getting more kills. However, I find that incredibly ridiculous. Sure, I can sit here for 3 hours a night, and just farm XP to unlock all the really cool weapons. But then skill doesn’t come into the equation does it. The game rewards people who farm XP and just live on the servers. That isn’t fun.
That being said, I can still hold my own against what I consider to be obvious BF players. I mean for the love of god, have you not heard of flanking? Time after time I’ve accidently wandered behind enemy lines (that’s my ET:QW training coming into play) and found myself with 3 enemies standing in front of me with no idea I am there, and I just mow them down (well try to mow them down, not easy when they are like lvl20, with hugh armour and awesome guns).
