mate has had the same problem, so he rang up yesteday and had nothing. so he rings up again today - send him a new code and behold............it's exactly the same one. he ain't very happy at the momemt. so he's gonna give one more call tomorrow.

Have just spoken to them and have been told its gonna be 3-5 days for new code. Well, it only runs until 25th Feb, I think. Stupid Play, no response to email either (sent Saturday at 6pm ish) Its now Tuesday....

Just like in MAG on the PS3, the Medic class in this really gives you a nice xp boost to assist in levelling up. Im sure though most will drop it later in preference to assault etc.

Was playing the other night and when defending the objective I was running around where most of the team were massing up against the offensive "big push" and I was laying first aid box's and resusing so many teammates it was unreal, loads of bonus's, is a good part of teamplay and really helps. Even more so when you are in offence closing on objective and you can keep team mates in the fight nearer objective than them having to respawn miles away.

In regard to overpowered, their main weapons are good, especially the 200 round mg like the M249 SAW (which i unlocked) are great without having to reload if fighting multiple targets (although damn that reload is slow) :-) I wouldn't say overpowered either but its a good class to have on your side if played well.

The only reason i feel its overpowered is because the assault class is no where near as good, 200 rounds as opposed to 30 rounds and the health feels almost the same but that is difficult to tell, stupid dumbed down console ports!

having played the beta myself for quite some time now I don't belive the medic class is overpowered. The assault rifle unlocks i.e. the better weapons and the shotgun 203 make killing so much easier. with the assault rifle it takes probably 5-7 shots to kill where as the medic takes probably 30 it seems even with burst firing!!!! But from teh beta so far I havent be disappointed. Certainly makes up for the disaster that was MW2

Are some companies applying their own settings to the servers in the sense of breaking the player cap? I've seen some servers reporting 38/39 players in game when the cap is supposed to be 32?

the RSP's have been busy finding out the codes, the EA have been asking how they managed to get over the 32 player beta cap. hardcore modes also been found.

^_^ Managed to get on one of your servers last night, shame the server browser still isn't fully functional. Any ETA on the next, if any patch and what it will update ?

The only classes that I think the scopes are potentially useful are the sniper's 12x and the red dot of assault. For medic, the med kit+ and the engineers extra rockets package seem more useful.

Yeah, that's where the medic falls short with no explosives - until I unlock artillery strike/UAV at least.

I dont think its doing anything other than refining a genre which has been around for a long time. I dont see it as a defining game, albeit its a very enjoyable one.

I think the 32 players cap feels fairly ok, a nice number. Obviously in different modes this could be different and again on different maps.

A big request on the EA forums is to bring back the Q command rose, although I think the new system works well, it would be nice to say thanks

personally the Q flower would be good if its optional, as i prefer it with out the masses of menus taking up the screen. Just a simple press it once and u've spotted the enemy or designated the attack target makes life so much easier!
