I've been trying the saiga out with that combo and it's loads of fun when you can make it work. Great for getting into an mcom mowing down everyone on the way when they're not expecting it.

Just got my Platinum for the SAIGA. Quickest ever Platinum at 9 hours! On to the USAS...

Rushing in with saiga is always fun if you can sneak close enough. Sniping is not so fun and doesn't help your side win. I got called 'hurricane ciber' at the end of a round the day before yesterday after what must have been the fastest attacking win on rush mode I've ever done. Run in, 'bambambam bambambam' til everyones gone, set the charge on the mcom, defend it, then on to the next double quick. Fun

I haven't played this for ages, think i am still level 11. Is there any bonus points wise for killing higher level players? as im sure most players will be well into their 20's with better gear.

if you knife them you will get there dog tags which on higher levels are silver/gold apart from that no its just like killing anyone else

The Balance tweaks are as follows:

Slightly increased the damage of the UZI at long range.
The AKs74u now has more felt recoil when aiming.
The G3, VSS, and all SemiAutomatic rifles now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming.
The PKM, Type 88LMG, G3, An94, and 40mm shotgun have returned to their former glory.
Increased the damage of the MG3 to bring it in line with the rest of the LMGs.
Fixed a bug where the Saiga12 with slugs would do too much damage at long range.
Fixed a bug where the SVU would do too little damage at long range.
Fixed a bug where M95 rounds would not kill armored targets with headshots
