    Re: Minecraft?

I was looking at my 8 stacks of iron today and I decided to make a rail system to connect my 3 bases together.

After an hour of tring to get a mine cart booster working and failing, I checked online, it doesn't work as of 1.7

So I grabbed a flat map from here http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/...8#entry1132268 and the toomanyitems mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/...nvedit-july-1/ so I could do some testing of normal redstone&gold booster rails

Some observations, 3 connected boosters seems to be the ideal amount, however I do need to do some more testing.
Also a cart with a player or mob in it goes far further than an empty cart.
my 3 section booster sent an empty mine cart 15 tiles, with me in it it went to the end of my track (128 flat rail tiles), a sheep managed to get itself into one of the carts and it did the same distance.
    More testing needed.

It should be up tomorrow, sorry for the delay. We're being very stringent with IPv4 addresses and I'm having to twist the network chaps arm to give me one. The server is built though, once it's got a public IP address it should be good to go.

    Re: Minecraft?

Well I restarted my gargamel seeded map.

Within an hour I had filled my inventory with red store, gold iron, iron ore, lapis, diamonds and a few tools...

I started using the god old diamon pick axe then decided to use pobs tnt in a block mining and was soon blasting tunnels galore through the ground.

During that time nearly got buried by gravel and nearly fell into lava.

there is an older "minecraft classic" on minecraft.net that is free, but it is ooold now.

To play the latest beta, which i guess is what you are after you have to throw some money at them for an account, and under hexus rules that are as many options as i can suggest to you

get it bought, its great and will get even greater in the future.

To add, with the endless number of skins and texture packs out there for free the ways the game can be changed are immense!
