ohhh, this is why we couldn't find someones (sorry someone! i was drinking!) death chest when we were exploring caves one time. Saw it appear on top of a tower of Glowstone, went to try and find my way out, when "someone" got back and tried to find his shizzle there was no sign.

The 1.8 update (adventure pack) looks good and yes a restart might be good for that, if people don't mind.

I saw some wolves right at the start, infact I had one following me around for a while.

As to the point of minecraft, there isn't one sort of, it's just a big survival sandbox game
I could of sworn I saw some video of someone on a flying cart ..

That would interest me if it were possible to use online to travle, though Im assuming it was probably some sort of mod , and not something you could use to drop in on people , chase them or whatever..

I don;t know about a flying cart but there is a hot air ballon/zeplin mod and another mod that lets you build aeroplanes.

to make a flying mine cart you can build a tnt cannon

    Re: Minecraft?

well I got it running on my work pc it's an old Athlon XP 2600+ (I think) with a 6200 geforce, granted I have to run it on low settings and reduced draw distance, but it works
Mine craft is actually fairly cpu heavy

I've moved into the castle now and burnt down my tree house.

Added some irrigation to the wheat farm, it works so much better if you irrigate it.

    And tweeked the rail system.

This game is fantastic and recommend it to anyone.
The amount of customization and mods aswell as the stock game is just great and the community is very large and always offers new content

As you may be aware Notch has started work on a new game called Scrolls. Bethesda have decided to take legal action over the name (due to their Elder Scrolls series), so what does Notch do? He's challenged them to trial by combat!

The more I read about Notch the more I like him, I really hope Bethesda do take him up on it, this is the sort of thing that should happen in the games industry, but no it's all too corporate and money driven.

    Re: Minecraft?

Bethesda are being rediculous I can understand the entire name of the game being trademarked, but just the word "scrolls" rediculous.

On another note, Minecraft has stopped working. When I try to run the game I get a Java Platform SE has stopped working crash, so far havent been able to fix it.
