If it was a contradiction then it would be saying that.

To me the gfx looks dated. So they give us more life like faces...seems thats where all the time was spent and not on the others bits.

I will say it again farcry looked a lot better then what they have come up with in this. ie the overall feel of the game. There are certain parts where you do go wow but they are few and far between.

If you can not accept that some of us are not blinded by the hype then though.

    The gameplay doesn't disapoint though.

I have enjoyed HL2 but it is just an average game with a few spangly gimmicks. So you have to carry the bouyant barrels underwater and place them under the ramp to lift it up? Afraid to say it's just a gimmick, just give me a switch next time. If I were to score it, 6.5/10.

What game would you actually give a 8/9 outta ten then???

they seem to be some sort of suppresent (sp?) because when you get the antlions to "work" for you you have to turn the ground basher things off otherwise they won't move

Did anyone else brick themselves when they came over the crest of the hill and saw the vast expanse of sand to cross, with only explosive barrels to hop on? In a way I was glad when the ant lion queen needed killing.

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Ahem... As I was saying - wassup with that ending?

Bit of a let down! (the actual end sequence I mean, though the last level isn't too good either - I wanted to play around with the upgraded gravity gun some more and I also wouldn't mind exploring the place)
