Ah, my favourite !
I blacked out and collapsed at work, body-surfed over a sea of golf clubs and fell against a rather sharp wall-prong-thingie. When I came round, white as a ghost, bruised, and with a rather nastily cut back, a passing dearie looked at me and uttered those words.
Totally natural and very nice of her I suppose, but seemed to enrage me at the time. If she could just have shouted for someone to give me a hand I'd have been a little more appreciative.
In a similar vein: "are you watching this ?"
I once had a friend who rode his motor-bike into a car park without noticing the chain across the entrance. His bike carried on for a while but he stopped dead with both shoulders dislocated/disjointed. A couple ran up to him and the woman asked "Are you alright?" and the bloke (This was in York) said "Forking hell mate, that were a c**t's trick."
I preferred the bloke's 'sympathy' to his bird's dumb question.
