It was pretty good - james may was great as ever
What was so bad about Will Young? He was good.

Sorry, but this was a pretty poor ep compared to the sort of stuff they were making 2/3 series ago.
You slagged me off earlier in the thread for liking X Factor and yet you may as well be watching it with this TG *sigh* .

First episode was good, this one, not.

Could Clarkson grovel any more to Will Young? I thought he was going to go and sit on his lap or something.

I've enjoyed both. This America show was certainly not as funny as the last one but at least they were in fairly nice cars this time. The ZR-1 is an awesome car

We even got a car review at the start.. that was novel

I wish they would scrap the interviews each week or make them much shorter.. cuts into the bits that are worth watching.

Yes but it's all down to scale.

You see, the very worst episode of Top Gear is still a quadrillion times better than the best episode of X Factor.

The reasons for this, simply, are that Top Gear is a entertaining show, for men to watch, involving cars, speed, erm... cars, and speed. It's perfect sunday evening TV.

X Factor, however, is inane mushy nonsense, for the terminally thick, 14 year old girls, and 55 year old women to watch, inbetween Eastenders, Corry, Emmerdale, Neighbours, Home and Away, Hollyoakes, etc.

Scale Santa, you must learn to grasp scale.

Will Young was a bad guest not because he is gay (I think) nor because he was on X factor or Pop Factor, or X Idol, or France Has Talent, or whatever, just that he is neither interesting or famous enough for me to want to watch him be interviewed.

I struggle to think of any really good interviews I've seen on there though. I usually take that time to do.. anything else.

I wonder why their guests are so C list? I mean, isn't Simon Cowell (y'know off X Factor) one of the fastest drivers they have ever had on? Top Gear and X Factor are starting to look inextricably linked what with Will and Simon and, no surely not, didn't they have that Peter Stringfellow on there once? I mean, what a tawdry show... I think Angie and Brian out of Queen should be the next guests - it'd be a great hairdo night.

Oh yeah, an' have some cars 'n' stuff too.

Well this is very true. It just wasn't in English the first time round lol.

That love is mainly directed toward the 6R4's though..
