    Hmm, I would have thought the "your" vs "you're" issue would have been mentioned before this one

    As I said to Russ earlier in the thread, I failed my first test for not indicating in a filter lane. It may be daft, but apparently it's the law.

    Didn't say it had to be logical
    Most things that annoy people about Drivers is completely subjective, it's amzing how everyone's right.

    Bit dated but in my Amiga 500 days - games that I bought (usually mail order) that I'd play through to the last few levels and then find they were faulty - unable to finish, unable to return. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

    Similarly, things that break the day after the warranty expires. Conspiracy? I think so.
    No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. However, many electrons were displaced and terribly inconvenienced.

    Yeah that's if you don't take out the extended cover If you take that out you're guaranteed it will work perfectly, or they'll find some clause to get out of it

    Squeezing a 5 day job into 3 days, only getting paid for 3 days while a colleague who "works" 5 days, gets paid for 5 days, sits on her fat ass doing nothing but chatting to her mates on the phone all day

    Even worse is that the managers know about this and do f**k all about it

    Im not sure if this has been said already but people in shops like dixons and pc world!
    Argh why dont they get people that know what they are talking about or train them to.
    Ive had some woman convince my mum to buy a rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish tv simply because they get more commission on it (i know this because a mate works there and he is guilty of it too). You ask them a simple question and they decide to talk bullrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish about it as if you dont have a clue, and they tell you complete crap which you know is wrong.
    They must be told certain things to say, like in pcworld "usb is faster". I was asking why anyone would want a USB cathode tube when they go inside a pc, he said because USB is faster. ITS A LIGHT YOU IDIOT! "whats a psu?"

    Also people who dont THINK. People who say things like "HOW DO YOU PRINT WILL YOU DO IT FOR ME", there is a big button there mate saying print, if you actually looked it would be a lot easier. "Where does this wire go". Well if you actually stood for 5 seconds and looked at it hard, you will either notice that its labelled or colour coded, or theres only one shape of socket it will fit in. Use your brain.

    When you are serving someone in a shop at a till, they bring their own stuff onto the desk which they have bought elsewhere and say put that in the bag too. No 'please', and they stand and watch me struggle put their own rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish in the bag.

    People who let me serve them at the till whilst they are on the phone. And hand money over etc, and i cant even speak to them.

    Shop assistants that offer you 1000 other things after you have bought one. Seriously if i wanted some cakes with my drink, i would have picked a cake up and put it on the counter.

    I think you're complaints can be collected into two statements:

    You are annoyed by:

    1. Stupid people.
    2. Shop assistants.

    I love talking to shop assistants in places like PC World to listen to the BS they come out with - then I come back at them and ask about the ramping abilities of the Prescott core, or something equally true but technical, and they realise who they're dicking with.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    People who are supposed to be professionals asking you to troubleshoot something TOTALLY basic for them and having done that, and told them how to proceed, asking you to do that for them too. Then sitting and watching them call up the on site engineer and offer a load of BS without asking that engineer to carry out the task you just told them to do to solve the problem.
