I was more than a bit shocked. Saddened, too, not least 'cos I loved the music.
So far, I've heard nothing about what happened, other than given that she was in London to sort out some recording, apparently. It was presumably sudden and unexpected, though she had suffered some ill health.

For those younger HEXUS readers his name may not mean much, however for my generation being brought up in the 80s with the Spectrum, Amstrad & Commodore you will know him well, he did most of the artwork for Ocean software, things like New Zealand Story, Batman the Caped Crusader and so on. Great talent and a sad loss of someone who brought joy to the masses during the 8 Bit era.

I known him as the barman on Brush Strokes but had parts in the kids show Maid Marian, Chelmsford 123 and numerous appearances in Open All Hours amongst others. Alongside TV he made appearances in movies such as Robin Hood (Costner)
