Interesting that she says Mrs May's deal will soon be judged by the entire county, general election or another referendum?

And another one - Suella Braverman resigns.

    Re: Legitimate Brexit Betrayal?

So that's four ministers gone now? There must be a leadership challenge coming at least, if not an election or second referendum.

Edit: Theresa May in the Commons at the moment looks like she's beginning to crumble.. with ministers resigning while she's live on tv..

Apparently people are wondering where Gove is - he's not in Commons with everyone else. Maybe a few others missing too.

That's ominous for May.. reminds me of all the tory ministers disappearing from the tv news coverage on election night in 2017 when she lost her majority.

    Re: Legitimate Brexit Betrayal?

The biggest flaw in this agreement looks like the veto right given to the EU in bringing the agreement to an end. Absolutely astounding concession when one considers that the EU have not been at all gracious in dealing with Britain and Brexit, nor prior to it when Cameron sought to get the EU to modify the UK's standing within the EU. What reason would the EU have in ever releasing the UK from this agreement while is stands to serve them?

    Incredible.

I think the point is that it's the equivalent of the 'no deal' option - once we actually implement a trade agreement the backstop doesn't apply so there's nothing to withhold release from. The same applies the other way as well - the EU can't pull the pre-implementation backstop out without our agreement either.

They haven't been gracious. They've been negotiating to protect their own interests to the best of their ability. I wish I could say the same for our lot. It helps that the EU are negotiating from a position of strength I admit, but still.

I've just been speaking to Dominic Raab - he told the Chief Whip at end of Cabinet he was quitting, tells me the deal won't get through Parliament, and the EU have been 'blackmailing' us - interview on @bbcnews soon
