Someone should make an ant farm case mod. With two seperate colonies which you can link up to have WAR.
forget having a window in your case, put a double layer of plasic in and have an ant farm, it wont be long before overclockers are selling kits
Wow, I think I know why my ants have been so lame, looks like if you keep them in the dark they tend to just sit there doing nothing, I just moved them to the window and they are all over the place
Anyway will move them back in front of the webcam in a bit. Thanks for all your visits yesterday actually, over 250 people had a look at the camera

Just ordered my second batch of ants, when I get them in about 5 days hopefully these ants would have created a good tunnel network so I can expand the hive

UPDATE: As I mentioned earlier I was after a queen, this was the reply I got today:
Dear Ian, We would suggest using Black Ants Lasius niger or Red Ants Mymica
rubra (these do bite) We cannot definately supply a colony with a queen but
if you mention it on your order then we will do our best.Named species ants
