Watched Prometheus a few days ago, really enjoyed it but you have to pay very close attention in case you miss anything. Nicely tied in to the Alien saga as well, not as scary as I was expecting.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I watched Epic on Friday night. It was OK. A bit slow to start with but the end was OK. 6.5/10

Saturday was The Way, Way Back. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this one. I thought it was going to be a slow, moody film where nothing actually happens, but it's actually quite a nice rite-of-passage movie. 8/10

    Popcorn: Morrison's Sweet and Salty - 9/10

    Man of Tai Chi .

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be when I read it was directed by Keanu Reeves. Meh story but some good fight scenes

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

    Trance - 7/10
Film about a man who loses his memory and goes to a hypnotherapist to try and get it back in order to remember the location of a stolen painting.
Enjoyable, bit confusing due to switching between dream states, memories and the present day but strong performances from all the main cast.

    We're the Millers - 6/10
Had no idea what this was, turns out it's about a group who pretend to be a family in order to smuggle some drugs into the US from Mexico.
Wasn't expecting a lot, had me laughing out loud at various points, and I like the cast in general (that ones I'd seen before at least). Fine film if you just want to chill and have a laugh.

Wolf of Wall Street at the cinema, first time I've ever been tempted to go watch a film again!

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Been watching a lot of films recently.

The Forgotten - very good. Wasn't expecting it to be so good.

Empire State - entertaining but rather long winded at some points. True story also.

Riddick - good action movie but some bits made no sense.

Also watching through the Wrestle mania anthology. Not really a move but many hours to watch.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Friday night was Traffic, from 2000. Solid film based on a British series that had Bill Paterson in it, apparently. 7.5/10

Saturday night was The World's End: The final part of the Cornetto trilogy. It was OK. A bit of a disappointment, actually. I guess I was expecting something on a par with Sean of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, but this just didn't get there.

Popcorn: Mixture of Butterkist Cinema Sweet and Tesco's salted. OK but not on a par with the pre-mixed from Morrison's. 7/10

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

    Few films over the weekend.

12 Years a Slave: Very good but extremely depressing.

Django Unchained: I've seen it before but I had to make the GF watch it after 12 years a slave to have a bit of Slave Revenge

Third Star: Also very good but extremely depressing.

Wolf of Wallstreet: Man that's a long film! I was enjoying it but GF made me turn it off about half way through, need to finish it at some point.

The Worlds End: Like Smudger it was OK, would of liked more.
