I used to do that years back, I a 3 disk changer one... can't remember the model but it had a hell of a lot of bass, used to really annoy my folks when I played games hee hee
grizzla:The cyber power rig looks pretty good, all that lot and a 3 year warranty. Power supply seems a little excessive unless your gonna stick another one or two 295s in there?

I will stick another one in but not for a year or so, i reckon it makes sense to pay a lil extra for the power now rather than upgrading that aswell when i wan2 upgrade my gfx in 12+ months. Think im just looking for reassurance that what i am getting is worth it. Which i think it is.
well here is a near final build that im going to go for. just waiting on some of them to go back on stock again
i might order the ones in stock now and wait for the rest later because if i wait any longer, some of the other components may be out of stock
however, if i do buy some and buy the rest later, the parts i bought may drop in price decisions decisions but i got my build in the estimated budget i intended. just a tad over 1100 with free delivery
Do you guys have any other suggestions about the parts i selected?
anyways here is the build:
Well seeing as you're paying about £50~ for the Thermalright Ultra (price added with the 1366 bolt on thingy) take a look at the Noctua-NH-U12P
Check some of the latest reviews on it. Seems to beat the TRUE iirc, and comes with 2 fans. Apart from those ugly looking fans it's good value for money compared to the TRUE I say.
Plus you're missing a fan for the TRUE
Unless you've got your own.
For general lazyness here's a search which contains 5 decent reviews in the first page alone.

yea i have two antec Green LED fans i intend on using i will check it out and if its as good as the TRUE then why not seeing as it comes with fans and 1366 socket ready?
It hasn't beaten the TRUE in all it's reviews but it comes quite close, but it's probably because of the fans it comes with which are for silence mainly. The Anandtech one (where the TRUE was really made famous + the Scythe S-FLEX fan) is where it is said to beat the true, but that is because it has 2 fans (the ones included) in a push pull setup.
starting to look like a really nice build
damm why did scan bump the price up on the black colour of the A70 lian li case? the price has shot up to 150 now while the silver one is still 133? Also why is the A70 one with the door £5 more then the normal A70 case?
pound getting weaker the reason? i just heard its the actual manifacture's ie lain li that bumped the prices up for some odd reason
why are they bumping the prices up on these old products? the PC-A70 has been out for nearly two years now
Thermalright wise since you are getting the bolt through kit get the AMD version http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Therm...-(Without-Fan) its £35 (so £5 cheaper than the Intel version) and is Identical in every way just comes with mounting for AM2 rather than S775.
As to weather to buy now or wait its a tough call I would be tempted to wait in case prices drop but as you already know that swings both ways.
