Guild Master Stepping Down - All Please Read

Yep in order for me to be demoted, a new guild master needs to be allocated.

Madocks - there is broadband in Brum, but the place I will be staying for a while has no phone line.

I would put myself as a cheeky candidate forward, but as most of you all know, I have a serious lack of WoW knowledge as I keep on asking obvious questions, and my shop will be opening in about a fortnight's time, so will probably be on much less and after midnight (so won't see many of you around)!!


Why not do an annoymous poll? Say for 20 members at first, and then from the top 3 result another poll is created for just those 3 for the running (unless they wish to pull out).

Like wise - happy to become an officer and play a part, but not for guild leader.

I'd prefer to keep it the way it is (obviously without Leon, but someone to take his place) than have the giuld lead by a group of people, and definatly not a rotation of giuld leader.

Have been thinking about this, and as far as I can tell, it will be a temporary absence. Therefore, why do we need to change anything? Surely we can keep it just the way it is, but in Leon's absence, the Officers can be in charge of any decisions that need to be made?

It's a good thought Allen, but I have no idea how long I will be away for. I will be moving back to Brum on approximately the 30th May, then I will be living with my brother (the place has no phone line) until I can find a new house for me and my girlfriend. Depending on how that goes will depict how long I will be away.

It's a shame that 2 people have said they definately won't be. Still, Velan would not be a bad choice. But as I said, is there any need? What decisions does Leon make that the Officers can't? Just because Leon will be away for a while, the Guild won't disappear, and neither will his character.

Well i think you've missed Az offering to support the guild. Someone needs the abilities of guild leader in game while thor is away. That has to happen as otherwise it means no-one can change or appoint the officers of the guild.

Thanks TiG, Sorry Az, my intention was to try and force through the voting process by bringing the thread back on track. We can discuss 'til the cows come home and try to persuade Thor to stay but he's made his mind up and we should respect that and try to move forward.

So, Velan (Scientist) and Az are our two candidates. Is that it? What about you TiG? I know you have some reservations but your knowledge of the game world is almost unsurpassed and that must count for something.
