In the internets, no one can hear you sarcasm.

its nicely exposed, but your shutter speed is so fast, you've frozen the blades on the helicopter.. need to shoot 1/60-1/125 to get good rotor blur - this will stop the helicopter looking like it should be dangling on a string..

Spotted this fella today behind the house, better than a shot I got yesterday (was overcast and horrible).
Opinions/Criticisms welcomed.
my first band promo shoot, and i only got this one photo (that was half decent, but i still dont like it)... i need some ideas next time... i have a few, just need to work on them and get the band out again... hopefully half my equipment wont fail too!

Why isn't she looking at you? Nice composition otherwise, exposure's good. Sharpness is almost there - don't know if it's focus/DoF, resizing or compression that's causing some elements in the foreground to be slightly un-sharp (like her hand). Also you never know whether to flatter the subject and keep the face slightly smoother, or whether to really bring out the texture, imperfections and all. If you want to make the nose less prominant then step back further and use a longer focal length - this will also make the background appear closer (yet still blurred).
Nice shot, overall.
