A lovely sunset from last night. Kinda spoilt on me as I was at home
A quick shot whilst in Leeds today

Cute!
It's a shame the OOF highlights have such bright rings (as opposed to being more solid) as it makes the foliage in the background look a bit busy - it might improve on stopping down or changing the subject distance.. but of course this was just a quick shot and you could crop it out anyway. Nice capture of the fountains though.
Actually reasonably old photo become recently popular on my flickr site for some reason
Obligatory arty flower shots from a trip to Chatsworth this weekend.
The first one is great, although I would consider cloning out the two blemishes on the flower, they spoil an otherwise beautifully silky shot.
Any chance of a 16:10 desktop-sized version please?
Seem to be taking a lot of panoramas lately, of varying success.
Need to go on some sort of photo-expedition soon!

1st pano is a bit meh, needs better lighting or something more interesting..
2nd is a little more interesting but something not quite right..
That's just how I feel looking at them though

2nd pano is a winner, could be great with a little tweak of curves

I completely agree. I remember liking the clouds in the 1st one. In retrospect I should've lowered the tripod, to get more of a sense of depth in. I'm not sure why I didn't focus on the stream on the 2nd one, as it is there's not really a central feature of either of the pics. Still, I plan on going on a mini photo-expedition this weekend, so will definitely keep in mind what I learned
